Architectural constructive forms of tent structures.

It is important due to the emotional area intensity of the festival.Changeability is the essence of tent structures. All possible forms of soft prestrained tent shells having specific properties unlike hard barriers are used in practice. The optimal forms for the large-span tent shells are saddle surfaces (the surfaces of negative house curvature). These shapes are distinguished with wide diversity hyperbolic parabolloids (hypairs), the tents with leaning on one or several legs. The special curve shape provides the stability of the soft tent shell with large spans in dozens of meters. In spite of the cut complexities, the aesthetic properties and the original plasticity of the shells deserve high appreciation.
Tent coverings consisting of flat-shaped elements (parts) are confined to the size of vaulted spans up to 6 meters. Cylindrical and spherical surfaces have also to be divided by the parts of a hard frame. Folding tents are widely used in our practice. They are distinguished by the cut simplicity, minimal building height and small slopes preventing from very dangerous “water sacks”, that it is important under all the year round structures use conditions.
